Homeschool Language Arts Curriculum Options

Parents who follow an eclectic homeschool approach prefer to go for a rigorous homeschool language arts curriculum that often comes as a standalone, instead of being part of a boxed curriculum. As a parent, you will need to decide on the skills that are critical for your child. When we started this journey, reading and writing were our focus. The best language arts homeschool curriculum is the one that will build the needed skills. Generally speaking, a comprehensive language arts program should include (at varying degrees) reading, writing, vocabulary, speech, grammar, spelling etc.

One curriculum may lack in one area, but it can always be supplemented by other resources like worksheets and other homeschool language arts resources.

5. K12Reader - Reading worksheets and articles for parents and teachers, covering sight words, vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar, and other reading essentials.
