Homeschool Resources And Reviews

As a homeschool mom or dad, you are always on the lookout for resources, activities, and curriculum reviews online, and from other parents who have dug deeper into the various curriculum options, and even have experience with using them.  I have been homeschooling for over 4 years, and I know this first hand.

I'll do my best to add those  materials that have been a help for me when homeschooling my 3 children i.e

Homeschool Curriculum Reviews

On this site, I will be doing homeschool curriculum reviews based on first hand experience and that of families in my social network. Venturing into the homeschooling world for the first time does feel like stepping on uncharted waters.

The reviews cover both complete curricula, and those that are specific to certain subjects.  The beauty of homeschooling is that your child will have access to world-standard resources. Do not despair if you cannot find a curriculum that is specific to your country. Simply let me know and I will go to work for you, and add it to our website.

Here you will also find:
  • Homeschool language arts curriculum - reading and writing homeschool curriculum reviews.
  • Homeschool math curriculum - standalone Math curricula that resonate with homeschoolers.
  • Homeschool science resources - curricula and resources that will make help you teach science to your kids.
  • Christian Homeschool curriculum - these are faith based homeschool resources that have been used by parents (Christian and non-Christian alike) over the years.

Homeschool Resources

Besides the curriculum, a lot of homeschooling parents rely heavily on homeschool resources to supplement their kids' curricula. Whether you are looking to enforce, practice, or do experiments on a concept - you will find the resources here:

  • Homeschool worksheets - there are times when the kid needs more practice in order to grasp a concept (especially on math and languages), and yes, sometimes you just want something to occupy them. Worksheets are the go-to resources for this purpose.

  • Homeschool unit studies - Unit studies are the homeschooler's best kept secret for immersing a child on a topic. They include both theoretical, and mostly hands-on projects and crafts that will hold your little one's interest for longer.

  • Homeschool freebies

  • Homeschool planning resources - planning and organizing templates like lesson plans, report card and transcript templates etc.

  • Homeschool supplies

Homeschool Science Resources

Homeschool science resources (including curriculum) that are widely used.

Kids learn through play, so I am collecting fun, and educational homeschool activities that you can do with your kids on days that you want to lay low on the academics.

These span from art to making slime. Anything that will keep the kids active and learning at the same time.

I hope  you'll find the site to be useful addition to your homeschooling arsenal. Have fun, share, pin, or tweet to spread the word.
